Boas. Precisava de restaurar a pintura da suspensão da frente de uma bicicleta. Andei a ver alguns tutoriais no youtube e encontrei estes passos:
"-Cleaned and Prepped Bike -Etching Primer (for metal surface) -Sandable Primer (3-4 coats go heavy if you like) and wait to complete dry -Wet sand primer with 320 to 500ish grit paper -Respray primer if you go through metal -Base Coat (3-4 coats, don't mess this up and try to avoid runs!) -Clear coat (3-4 coats) -After clear coat cures, sand with 1000-1500ish sand paper) -Polish with polishing compound for shiny results or if you get runs in the clear -Enjoy your newly painted bike!"
Focam que é muito importante usar o Etching Primer. Os especialistas em tintas por aqui, aprovam estes passos? O que raio é o Etching Primer em português?
Pelo que vi usando aqueles passos ficam um acabamento super glossy, é possivel ter uma pintura igualmente boa mas acabamento matte ou semi-matte?
